I am all in.
I will be a responsive councilor who is visible in the district and accountable to residents.
I am a problem solver ready to work with fellow councilors and city staff to deliver results.

We need compassionate policies and strong city services.
We recognize that many residents are struggling to afford rent, utilities, taxes, and child care.
I am committed to all ideas that help residents stay and thrive in Portland.

Walkable, Bikeable District 4.
I will work to calm traffic and improve pedestrian and bicycle safety so that our district is a place where we all can walk, ride, and play.
I want every resident to get home safely.

I have a 3-year-old daughter and an 11-year-old dog. I love being a dad. It's my favorite title.
I've found community in running and discovered that road races are places where humanity is at its best. Spectators cheer equally hard for the leaders and the final runners, and every person out there matters. Strangers spend their morning helping other strangers believe they can keep going.
Living in Portland means always having new places to explore. You'll find me kayaking, picnicking, making a snowman with my daughter, or sitting on a bench on the Boulevard. I will find any excuse to be outside.
I grew up in a family of commercial fishermen. Observing my dad, uncle, and granddad work together on the Portland waterfront, I learned more than the differences among hake, haddock, and halibut. These men taught me the dignity of hard work, the value of good relationships, and the efficiency of a cohesive team.
Since those early days, I’ve used my problem-solving and teamwork skills as a state government official, strategy and operations consultant, and small business owner. I've spent my career overseeing teams and budgets, asking the right questions, anticipating unintended consequences, and adapting to unexpected challenges.
Portland has seen many changes since my great-grandparents arrived as immigrants 110 years ago. Today, we face major choices that will define our future. More than watching how Portland’s future unfolds, I want to play a role in shaping it -- listening to you, learning from you, and working for you. I would be honored to have your vote.
